Quality, Performance and Review Coordinator

  • (40hrs per week)
  • Based in either Auckland or Hamilton
  • Travel within New Zealand

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Quality, Performance and Review Coordinator to provide a flexible, effective and strategically planned quality, performance and review service in line with statutory and agency requirements and Key Assets vision, purpose and pledges.  You will report to the Operations Manager and work closely with the Social Work teams in various locations to ensure foster carer review processes are followed. Additionally you will coordinate and manage the complaints procedure, maintain accreditation requirements, act as Privacy Officer and oversee the quality and safeguarding performance of the organisation in line with legislative requirements. As a senior staff member you will participate in management team meetings, work with Oranga Tamariki, Ministry for Children, liaise with other stakeholders and provide support to the Social Work teams.

 

With a New Zealand recognised qualification in Social Work or equivalent experience in a suitable field you will have at least 5 years’ experience of foster care/family placement and/or child protection services as well as 2 years’ supervisory experience. You will also have experience of policy review, development and implementation. Experience developing key performance indicators and preparing data for reporting is preferable combined with knowledge of relevant Oranga Tamariki legislation and the National Care Standards Regulations 2018.

HOURS: 'Casual' - Hours are needs based. Hours are also not consistent / regular. Full Time 40 hrs/wk flexibility required due to travel (as you will work within the community)
